If you’ve got an RV, boat, or trailer parked in your driveway or side yard, you already know what Las Vegas sun does to it. Cracked rubber seals, faded paint, dried-out caulking, interior damage from heat buildup. A quality RV cover protects your investment and keeps it ready to go when you are.
Vegas Pergola Company builds custom Alumawood RV covers sized to fit your exact rig. Class A, Class C, fifth wheel, travel trailer, boat — doesn’t matter. We measure it, design it, permit it, and install it.

Why Your RV Needs a Cover in Las Vegas
The sun is the number one enemy of RVs in southern Nevada. Surface temperatures on an uncovered RV roof can hit 180°F+ in summer. That cooks the rubber roof membrane, dries out every seal and gasket, and fades your paint and decals in a couple of seasons.
Then there’s monsoon season. July through September, we get sudden hailstorms that can dent an RV roof and crack skylights. One good hailstorm causes thousands in damage. A solid roof cover eliminates that risk entirely.
There’s also the HOA angle. Many Las Vegas HOAs require RV covers or at minimum some kind of screening. We design covers that meet HOA specs so you can keep your rig at home without getting violation letters.
How It Works
Measure your rig. We come out and measure your RV plus the parking area. We need clearance for height (including AC units and antennas), width (including slide-outs), and length. We also check the ground conditions and any obstacles — utility meters, block walls, property lines.
Design and engineering. Every RV cover is custom. There are no standard sizes because no two setups are the same. We design the structure to clear your rig with room to spare, meet Clark County wind load requirements, and satisfy your HOA if applicable.
Permits. We pull the building permit. RV covers are larger structures and Clark County requires engineered plans. We handle the entire permit process.
Installation. Depending on size, most RV covers take 2-4 days. We set heavy-duty posts in concrete footings designed for the span. Post spacing depends on your rig’s access needs — we make sure you can still pull in and out without tight squeezes.
RV cover projects in Las Vegas typically range from $6,000 to $18,000+ depending on the size of your rig and any extras like lighting or side panels.
Materials We Use
Alumawood is ideal for RV covers. It’s strong enough to span the wide openings an RV needs, lightweight compared to steel, and completely maintenance-free. No rust, no repainting, no rot. The baked-on finish holds up to desert UV without chalking or peeling.
For RV covers, we primarily use solid roof panels with insulated cores. This gives you maximum protection from sun, rain, and hail. The insulation also reduces radiant heat — your RV stays significantly cooler underneath compared to sitting in direct sun.
Areas We Serve
We install RV covers throughout Clark County:
Why Choose Vegas Pergola Company
RV covers are bigger and more complex than standard patio covers. They need wider spans, taller posts, and heavier engineering. We’ve built covers for everything from 20-foot travel trailers to 45-foot Class A motorhomes. We know the clearances, the structural requirements, and the permit process.
Licensed under Princess Patios, NV Contractor License #0090673. Based in Henderson. We’re not a general contractor who “also does” RV covers — this is what we do.
